SURPRISES OF BEING
Our seeing, and our dancing, often seems to return us to habitual ways of moving. This workshop offers strategies to open us out from these ruts of the familiar into the surprises of being that lie just of out of sight, just below the surface of wherever we are.

Only available to book as a 3 day package.
Friday 29th June – Sunday 1st July 2012; 10:00-17:00
3 Day Workshop
Becoming more conscious of aspects of our experience, including sensation, vision, mood, idea and intention, we will explore how to bring more depth to our dancing and more presence to our performance.
Lucia draws on principles from Alexander Technique, Contact Improvisation and present time Composition. We will investigate what inspires us to move, how to remain open to both choice and co-incidence, and how to offer or play within scores for practice and for performance.
This three day workshop will lead to an informal sharing at 7pm on Sunday 1st July 2012.
Full rate £120 ¦ Independent artist £100 ¦ Student £80
Only available to book as a 3 day package.
Location
